OEM Bushings – We offer OEM bushings for a high level of quality, vibration, and harshness control.

OEM Ball Joints – We do not recommend OEM ball joints for this kit. Our kit does allow you to reuse your stock ball joints but we recommend Uniball or Keller for extreme use.  

Uniball – Our uniball bearing replaces the use of a ball joint for extreme levels of performance and strength. Commonly used in harsh racing conditions. Our patent pending control arm design allows you to run either a uniball or a ball joint for your desired use! (Uniball will replace only the top ball joint, Keller will be run for the lower ball joint)

Reuse bushings & ball joints – You also have the option to reuse your OEM bushings and ball joints. Maybe your Ranger is brand new or in great shape. Our patent pending control arms allow the choice to reuse your OEM hardware. We do recommend professional installation and the use of a press to ensure your original equipment can be removed and installed without damage.


SHOCK OPTIONS▸

FOX Performance Series 2.0 Podium QS3 Coilover Shocks 

This FOX Performance Series 2.0 Podium QS3 shock kit is a designed specifically for the Thumper Fab Long Travel Suspension Kit. Take your Defender from a capable utility vehicle to a full-on sport vehicle to tackle the kind of off-road terrain that will leave you grinning ear to ear.

The Podium 2.0 QS3 shocks replace your stock emulsion shocks with an internal floating piston (IFP) system housed in the piggyback reservoirs to keep the gas charge from mixing with the shock oil. This keeps the oil from effectively thinning out and losing damping control as the shocks get worked over washboards, rocks, and big dips.

The Quick Switch 3-position compression damping adjustment allows you to quickly set your shocks to adapt to your riding conditions. Set the QS3 to setting 1 for the softest ride on smoother trails or rock crawling. Setting 2 firms things up a bit if you’re carrying extra passengers or gear. Setting 3 gives you bottom-out protection when you put your foot down and catch some air off a dune or sprint off into the desert.

Beyond the extra capability you gain after bolting on a set of FOX Podium 2.0 QS3 shocks, you’ll have peace of mind knowing that they’re ruggedly built with hard-anodized aluminum bodies and reservoirs that resist corrosion, 5/8-inch hard chromed shafts for smooth operation and longer seal life, and are fully rebuildable if you ever damage a part or want to get them custom-valved for a specific riding application.

OEM Shocks - When this option is selected, you can reuse your OEM shocks. You will still benefit in overall ride quality with your Long Travel Kit. You can always upgrade to our custom tuned ZBROZ EXIT Coilover Shocks at anytime.

Cobra HD

  • American made components using a combination of High Strength Steel.
  • Our high-performance CV grease “VENOM” comes standard in all King Cobras.
  • Rzeppa style CV’s that will achieve high angles, articulate freely with no binding, and extend further than stock axles.
  • The shaft itself will allow for a high degree of twist BEFORE and AFTER yield point is reached to absorb high impact scenarios and keep you on the trail.
  • We use the highest quality CV boots to keep the elements out and the grease in.
